I will also be free of all things computerised, no email, no blog. How will I cope ? My blog has been a bit of a battle i.e not being read but now I have three whole fantastic followers – thank you all – so it is typical that my holiday should fall now. I could take the laptop but the place where we go is like being in another world. I mean some days, heaven forbid, I actually go out with NO makeup on & leave my hair to dry naturally!
The plot and the garden are just coming into their own, the sweet peas have just started to flower, the peas are podding, the courgettes and cucumbers are ready to harvest and there is quite a bit of fruit ready for jelly / jam making. Absolutely hope it chucks it down for a few days, we have had no rain for over a week. We will come back to courgettes the size of a cricket bat! We have family and friends watering for us so all should be well.

My lovely Son made it home from Glastonbury. Saw him last night, he didn’t look too bad, actually, considering he was there for a week. I think they had slept for most of the day yesterday. He told me that Kasabian were the best band that he saw and he loved lily Allen. John Bishop told him to F off, when he asked him for a photo because he said something along the lines, ‘Oh come on, you have lovely teeth, shame about the hair!’. That’s my boy.
The dogs have gone to the inlaws, this means I will get out of the house with no slobber on my clothes from Lili….might wear black just because I will have no spit to cover up!

The Husband will be THE BIG 50 whilst we are out there…..time to trade him in for a younger model! I am unable to think of anything to buy him, perhaps a coffin!

Well…I have to say that after reading you (I got to you by way of Gill) I am convinced that I need to be British or at least Irish well I actually am Irish -yep I’m Irish but been living in USA all my life. My parents on both sides are half Irish but absolutely no sense of humor. So here I am,stuck with this American accent and seriousness which does not apparently allow many visitors to my blog… hahaha & well I have a few but I’m not often read and you obviously are being read even though you are on vacation or as you say ‘holiday.’ So I must find a way to be cheery and upbeat or else take a class on British humor to get away from my completely boring blog. Oh but we do have one thing in common and that is this damn. fog of summer interfering with my garden too. but honestly I loved your post. Oh and your dog’s are cute….i have a dog?

Thank you for your comments. I did try to reply before but the internet crashed so I apologise if you get this twice. The calf story is amazing and Sunni sounds lovely. Got our two back yesterday, they are a bit sulky! The boxer was like a dog possessed on the beach this morning – like she had never been out, hilarious….although she drank so much sea water that she peed on the kitchen floor when we went to the allotment. My site may be being read but how do you get a like? Maybe my blog isn’t serious enough ?
Back to work tomorrow – I seriously do not want to go!
My gardens are full of weeds on my return, we had a huge home grown plate of dinner tonight apart from the meat, all was ours…how good is that.

That is pretty good if you ask me. Sunnin always drinks sea water then goes opposite of pee so you can be thankful for the little things.
As for getting ‘likes’-if you set your tags according to what people may be interested in. ..you will get them. I am having trouble lately I think because I am using both my phone and computer at the library to upload posts. I’ve taken a few done because I thought that they were too serious. So who knows. Another thing that’s tripped me up is not understanding the link process. If you know how to link up to daily post or other blogs it will tie you in to thousands. Have fun.
